Man oh man. What a great place. Had a small family reunion of sorts here. It's been here since 1950 and still going. Same recipes from the 50's especially the chili. Burgers, PO-Boy's, corn dogs, hot dogs, ice cream and shakes. I had a roast beef po-boy and it was so good. You need to check it out. It is on the town square of Oak Grove. Like it was picked up out of the 50's and sat here in 2020. They do take call in orders and do recommend. It does take a little while to get your order. It is worth it.
New to area, best place I've eaten at so far. The roast beef po-boy was delicious! Hot, juicy & flavorful, it comes with warm brown gravy for dipping! It's a small mom & pop place where you walk up to the window for your order. Small town feel & friendly staff, absolutely loved it all! I called ahead to order because every time I pass by, they are busy! When I got there, my order was hot & fresh with no wait time. Can't wait to try more items in the menu as they have a lot to offer. Prices are cheap & quality is great!! I'll be back.
Th little freezer is one of those places where you have to go first thing when you're back in town. The coke frosty is a staple that I always crave. It's been there for years and there's a reason why. It's yummy. But it does take awhile to get your food.
